The movement can be confusing on your first playthrough as the locations look very similar due to dirt, but its movement feels similar to origins. It has this function where melee weapons one tap till round 7 or 8 and that makes first playthroughs real fun. Rave has another great setup being i think a 90s forest, which isn't my ideal location but they make it work. The easter egg is very intimidating on your first attempt but every easter egg feels that way, but the alien is classic. To start off Zombies in Spaceland is great, it has a killer soundtrack with the Dj integration, the cutscene was good, and the map layout is very stylish and traversable. Infinite warfare i think is amazing zombies, because, with that game, even the bad maps still have great things. You could make a "stealth" camo class or a melee class or a defence class or whatever you like really. Loadouts can be changed so much and only a couple of things are crutch (Shellshock is almost useless without Sustain Zone for example). But generally I like all the easter eggs except chapter 2 of DLC 3 - invisible freakin' zombies feels unfair, especially when you have to spend a huge amount of jolts on EE steps as well, when you have to spend zero on the other two chapters that don't have invisible zombies.įine imo. DLC1 has some "artificial" difficulty added in that really pisses me off, but seems like most people deal with it OK so I could just be trash lol. Personally I like DLC 3, although I was really slow to start with it until I understood things and can see why others don't like it.Īgain, good in my opinion. I have no issue with replayability at the moment as I'm trying to get through hidden challenges, and feck me are some difficult. Heligoland DLC1) and try to explain the Geistkraft system which powers specials, weapons, mystery box etc. I prefer the less cartoony aesthetic compared to Treyarch zombies and love how they tried to ground the lore (obviously still nuts compared to real life) in historical accuracy/references (i.e. WW2 zombies gets waaaay too much flak on here I think, personally I really enjoy it (only game and mode I play at the moment). Theres so much variety and depth within this system which i enjoy a lot. more ammo, another weapon slot, extra headahot damage. The loadouts are incredible - you get to choose your specialist ability the three 'mods' which are perma buffs e.g. Really satisfying to use, especially the semi auto rifles. The weapons are all useful imo and have a lot of weight to them. This is the strongest part of WW2 for me. PaP is a simple process in each map, however (especially dlc 4) the wonder weapons are always quest based which (while fun to do) does take a bit of dedication to set up The survival maps (house, dlc 3) have a really quick setup and are good to get your teeth into. They make sense logically, your progress is clearly labelled in the beginning, and it plays some fantastic musical stingers as you progress through which makes it feel really rewarding.ĭepends on the map. The release map's casual path and dlc 2s quest are standouts. Honestly - some of the best EEs we've ever seen. If you really dig that though i think you'll like them. None of the dlc (other than maybe 2) are better than the release map - having said that the release map is in my top 5 of all time.
